    What is the question???  I don't see it!  My short bio is:  Have a B.S. degree (3.2).  Worked retail through college.  After graduating with a speech and hearing degree, became a waitress.  I'm 60 and still cute (in the eyes of some beholders).

    In order to be a contestant you should be able to dig back into your memory banks to remember what you learned in grade school. Be personable and revert back to grade school.  I am 59 years old and am amazed how much recall I have from grade school days.  I love Jeff to pick me.  PLEASE!!!

    Clicked answer the question and nothing came up - so I guess the answer is what is the question!

    My oldest son used to call me "Trivia Queen" and to send me trivia books.  Some of my friends think I'm smart (smart enough to fool them anyway).  My mother died when I was seven and my father's job moved us around alot - I attended 13 schools, some in Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Illinois and California. Some were public and others Catholic boarding schools, before I graduated from 6th grade. I worked for Simi Valley Unified School District for 10 years.  Later I spent over 20 years in the travel industry and was fortunate to travel to over 27 countries.  I like to think I've learned something and would love the opportunity to see if it's true.  I'm not able to send a picture but I'm not bad looking even if I am over 70.  

    I may or may not be 'Smarter than a Fifth Grader' but I'll never know unless you let me try.

(you read it right)  I help him and other children in the neighborhood with their homework and class projects.  I watch the show nightly and do very very well on the questions.  I would like to use my son as my student helper.  It would be a great show idea to have parents and their children (grades 1 through 5) compete as a team.

A contestant needs to be personable and outgoing, but not silly or embarrasingly dumb, and without taking him/herself too seriously. This is a great show to actually re-learn things we adults may have forgotten...and in a fun, light-hearted way. I have two post- graduate degrees, and I think I would have a real challenge...but I would love to try, and I would have a great time along with everyone else.
