Akai PT5492 TV will not turn on; red timer light on

I have an Akai PT5492 and the red timer light is on and TV will not turn on.  I have unplugged and changed different outlets and still have the same problem.  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    I have the same problem with my three akai tvs that  I bought for my restaurant. two died in 2 yrs and the 3rd one is in a coma , I will never buy anything with akai logo on it.
