I have a Waffle-Master (by ToastMaster) model 2C1 which was made between 1931 and 1935.  I have used it for years and years but this past weekend it stopped working (no heat and light doesn't come on).  After inspection of the internals I discovered that the contacts have worn out and will not stay in place.  I'm not sure what these contacts are made of but they look like carbon or graphite and are cone-shaped (about half the size of a corn kernel).  I don't know where (or if) I can get replacements. Also, what type of wire should I use to re-wire the internal wiring.

Contact Michael Sheafe at Toaster Central toastercentral.com/index.htm   I just purchased a restored Waffle Master from him.  He will sell you what you need to fix your appliance.  Hope this helps.
