However, your parents’ coverage is not valid in your area of residence/study or if you are married, then you cannot depend on them for medical coverage.    The reforms spell good news for students in America. Now they do not have to worry about jobs after high school and more and more students will be encouraged to complete graduation. My son is pursuing his higher studies without having to worry about his medical bills and that gives him and me peace of mind.
