Average amount of water one person uses per day

   Well there are really some interesting stats about water usage in USA. Each minute in the shower uses 7 to 10 gallons, and flushing the toilet takes 5 to 7 gallons. Run the dishwasher and there goes 15 gallons. It's no wonder the average American uses up to 200 gallons of water per day!

   
   

   On the other hand, 5 to 6 gallons per person, per day is used in some African nations. while one gallon is hardly available to one person in most of the third world countries!
