Better Joker, Johnny Depp or Heath Ledger

Johnny Depp has been named the joker in next episode of Batman franchise. Depp has class of its own and on the other hand Ledger has raised the bar. who will be the better joker? can depp out perform ledger and set new standards. what do you say about it.

    By the way i think ledger did what wasn't expected from him but Depp has the potential to do it better.

    actually i think depp isn't as devoted a human beinbg as ledger was. ledger had to spend months alone pracvticing his role, the crazy thing he'd do with the tongue, that took alot of practice. it was a very powerful role requring alot of emotional sacrifice and i dont think johnny (whos just a bit of a show off) could pull it off..

    Ledger did an incredible job in The Dark Knight. He would have been a great Joker in the next film as well if he had not passed away. As for Johnny Depp, we will have to see what he can do but I dont think that he will be able to live up to Ledger. As numair stated, Depp is a bit of a show off. He might be able to pull of the role, but he is more suited for comedy. He did a great job in Pirates of the Carribean and hopefully wont let us down in the next Batman movie.

    They guy is dead, who cares whos better. It will only be someone else now. Disgusts me that people talk about someone whos dead like this.
