firstly, you should be very careful on choosing a name for your business, which should not be registered or used as a trademark by anyone else. The business name which you have selected should have a domain name available specially in .com tld else the name should relate to your business so as the target audience of your business reads it, shall immediately comes to the closest idea of what business could be.
The business name which you are selecting should be easily conveyed to the customers or prospects take an example here ITSec if you tell someone on phone ITSec for them it will be a bit difficult to understand that what is the actually words else it sounds like a company providing IT Security or something but in actual fact they provide insurance softwares and lastly the web add for their website should be itsec.com whereas they uses eitsec.co.uk, which actually means that they might be losing potential customers online.
You should keep all these things in mind while choosing a name for you new business. Else if you go for a logo design forget about getting funky elements or icons it try using as simple fonts so that it should be easily readable and try using a unique abstract or simple element which makes your customers recall at a glance about your business.
