Can I use Adsense on my image site?

I am thinking of starting a website that would be for animated .gif images of all kinds. I was wondering if I am allowed to use Adsense

    As long as you don't post image ads on an pages with 'adult' content, you won't be violating the Adsense policies from that perspective.  Obviously you must not post ads on pages which contain images that are anyone else's copyright, either, in order to keep the image hosting lawful
