I am new to Indesign and I want to know that whether we can design web layout in indesign or not.

It is quite simple and you can do it easily, without any hindrance. I have begun utilizing Adobe InDesign to conceive sheet layouts for websites. No to conceive the genuine layout in a Dreamweaver or in a hand-coding sense, but as a device for distributing conceive notions and creative concepts with clients. InDesign boasts productive conceive command (in an Illustrator-sense) to make it a nifty device for laying out visuals to display clients. Through InDesign, I can conceive layout notions which can then be exported as a PDF to share with clients.
I have discovered this especially cooperative when conceiving large, database-driven websites. By utilizing the feature methods in InDesign, it is likely to set up methods that are effortlessly transferable to CSS throughout the output stages. And like CSS, when the purchaser reconsiders the visuals and, for demonstration, concludes that she likes the prime navigation to a somewhat bigger and for the font to be red.
I guess this is the most interesting way to do the web layout stuff. And I hope you can do it easily. So do it on your own and let me know how much you are comfortable with it.
I hope this will work and if you got any problem then let me know, as I am here to be of your help.
Thanks.
