   The Canberra Festival celebrates the sense of community spirit and vibrancy through concerts, sporting events, exhibitions, dance, art, culture and heritage, film and music. From Friday 11 March to Sunday 20 March, Canberra will play host to a range of extraordinary events, with each day providing something that showcases the diversity and culture of our city.
   Canberra citizens and visitors will enjoy the returning Big Canberra Bike Ride, All Ford Capital Car Show, Black Opal Stakes and the National Sheepdog Trial Championships once again in 2011, plus much more. The National Gallery of Australia, Parliament House and Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House will open their doors for special after-dark experiences and exclusive platinum offerings.
