Changing brake front pads

hi everybody,
today i changed the front brake pads of my 525i with new OEM brake pads but i have a question about the Tightening two rear bolts of caliper , first when i wanted to open the bolts the bolts in the middle of the rubber cover of them but when i changed the brake pads and want to tightening the bolts of calipers ,the bolts doesnt hooked like before , they are hooked sooner . is it normal or its the wrong work and i couldnt to fit the caliper correctly ? i hope that i could to discribe my problem .

    yes, its normal and it will assure that new pads are better than the previous one as these have better thickness. just ensure the caliper fitness they should not remain loose and do a break oil bleeding before you use it. go ahead you are on the right path.
