Question:

Curved soprano good choice?

I play oboe and next year i will be in marching and jazz band. i have to play an alto but for home before i get there i would like a curved soprano. being a beginner should i get the sop.? it has an awesome sound should i get it?

    i play alto and oboe, as well as a few others. and honestly i would say go to an alto. you have to have such a loose ombuecher on a soprano and being an oboe player, i know you arent used to that.
