Custom duty on Importing a used car to Barbados. I recently moved to barbados and went looking for a car. it is the shocker of my life a normal car costs three time the price i would pay for in the USA.  i would like to find out what it will cost me to bring a used car from outside of barbados. what will be the custom duty in barbados, how long would it take and what kind of cars can i bring to barbados. any information will be helpful.  thx

    You can import any car once its no older than 4 years and under 50 000km. http://www.mgassociates.net/regulations.htm see here for further information.
      All these rules are void if you know : 1) someone with good social standing who can get deals done for you, 2) know someone who works in the port 3) Are a trickster lol. Also remember anything over 1.6litres will cost you a lot more.
