Whilst is fair to say Jermaine Defoe is on fire at the moment, Heskey’s overall value to the team could be more important. Heskey gets the best out of Rooney but Defoe is on top form, who should start against Croatia?

    It’s got to be Defoe all day long. He has been outstanding in the last few weeks; he’s been scoring goals and has almost been unplayable.
    Everyone likes Heskey. When he plays well he is a fantastic player, but his goal scoring will always be his downfall. Even if he set up ten a match as a striker, he will always be judged by his goals.
