Question:

Demonic dreams? serious christian help only please.

I have had demonic dreams ever since i became a Christian (age 3 or4). It just started out as black men at the end of a hallway and gradually turned into Satan himself sexually assaulting me. I used to get a monthly dream where 2 hooded demons would come into my room and attack me, that went on for 3-4 years, but i got used to them. And the creepy thing was that they told me when the next attack would happen, i would forget about it and on the predicted day, i would be attacked that night. So dont say it had something to do with guilt because how could i knoww that i would feel guilty about something on a specific day? Anyways, do you think these are actual demonic dreams or what?

Hello, I understand what you are going through. These dreams can be terrifying and scary and they are alarming to you, so please do not allow other people's oppinions scare you into silence and just putting up with it.

This is a complex issue because in reality Satan is feeding off your fear. You can fight back and that is through your knowledge of Jesus Christ and asking Him for help. Commit yourself to a loving relationship with Christ, and ask for His guidance and protection. Read your bible and meditate on helpful scriptures.

Now I am not saying anything against the love you have for God already. But to be realistic even one of the disciples tried to rid someone of a demon and got a really big beating and scare because the demon replied " Jesus I know, you I don't know." This has to do with faith, and I can tell you that evil is persistent because of our lack of faith.

I know you love God, but the thing is evil is far more stronger in knowledge and more cunning than we can ever be. Our best defense against Him is what Paul says is to clothe ourselves With Jesus, and put on the armor of God daily.

Some people pray for this, but the fact is praying for the armor of God has become like a superstition. It is spiritual clothing that we cannot put on daily when we get up out of bed. This spiritual clothing is within us, on the inside of our beings and it acts as a shield of protection.

The armor is an analogy because the Roman army had to wear their armor all the time in order that they would be prepared for battle- daily. Every where the disciples went, they say Roman guards. Ready prepared.

Ephesians 6:10-18 is a perfect discription of the armor that we are to wear.
The belt of Truth- Jesus who is the word, Breastplate of righteousness- righteousness comes from the spiritual fruit we bear- see Galatians ( Mercy, love, kindness, grace, compassion, love forgiveness) feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Jesus is our Peace. God's word is our direction. Shield of faith. Faith comes by hearing the word of God and digesting it, applying it to our daily living.

God cannot impart any supernatural armor onto us... we recieve it through learning God's word and walking close with Him.
