Question:

Display driver igfx stopped working but has recovered.

I've recently recieved and installed Empire: Total War. It successfully installed but when I launch the game the screen goes black, it turns on and off (as if your changing the resolution) and when it finally loads up the game screen is in a mess - you can't read the writing but you can see the background. I've been looking on the internet but I can't find a solution. Here's some of my specs, if you need more let me know.
- Windows vista home premium 32 bit
- Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family

    Sorry, I should add that when i minimise the game and go to the Desktop, a message appears saying: "Display driver igfx has stopped working and has recovered".
