Do i really want to tell my mom that im "growing up" and things are happing? do i trust her?

I really do want to trust my mom because she told me i can tell her any thing but do i really want to tell her this? im 11 and turning 12 and i know that my mom and dad will start to ask my questions, but do i really want to answer the "period" question? im very conffused please help me :(
