I have a question about the Photoshop CS3. Actually I happen to have the Windows 7 home premium installed on my home computer. I was just wondering if the program Photoshop CS3 would be compatible on the windows 7 home premium. I would really be grateful if someone could tell me that whether it is possible or not.

Usually, this program will run in XP Pro SP3, but will not run in Win 7 Home Premium. But it depends if you are using Windows 7 64, as it will probably have the same problem in any Windows 64 OS.  In this case, you must uninstall CS3 completely and not just PhotoShop, thus specifying that the preferences are to be removed as well. When you re-install, the installer will give the default install location as something like "C:/Program File (x86)/Adobe" but, when you click "OK" install will respond that the location is not valid.  Avoid re-specifying like”C:/Program File/Adobe", that's the location for 64-bit apps and CS3 is 32-bit and needs to be in the (x86) folder to work properly.  Replace "C:/Program File (x86)/Adobe" with "C: /Program~2/Adobe".  The installer may not "light" the OK button.  If so, click the browse button then the cancel button and "OK" should activate.  This will make the CS3 installed.  Right after the install completes, There is a message that the app may not have installed properly, probably something went wrong (i.e., when it's in the 32-bit program folder you won't get this message). Re-install Photoshop, but remember to set the installer's compatibility mode to Windows XP Service Pack 3 and run as administrator. After installing CS3, download and install the latest software updates from Adobe.
