For flight bookings made from Australia, Qantas charge a card payment fee at a fixed rate per passenger per booking.
For bookings made before 1 December 2010, card payment fees are:
A$7.70 for domestic bookings (includes GST)
    A$7.70 for trans-Tasman bookings
A$25 for all other international bookings departing Australia
For bookings made on or after 1 December 2010, card payment fees are:
A$7.70 for domestic bookings (includes GST)
    A$7.70 for trans-Tasman bookings
A$30 for all other international bookings departing Australia
The card payment fee does not apply to changes to existing bookings.
Qantas offer other payment options which do not attract the card payment fee:
    For bookings made at qantas.com:
BPay - for bookings made 7 days or more before scheduled departure.
Debit MasterCard - for bookings made within 7 days of scheduled departure.
For bookings made via Qantas Telephone Sales:
BPay - for bookings made 7 days or more before scheduled departure. Other Qantas service fees may apply, depending on the services provided.
For bookings made through travel agents and Qantas Travel Centres:
Cash or EFTPOS payment. Other Qantas or travel agent service fees may apply.
Check with your financial institution for other applicable fees or charges.
