Does the ‘Exposure’ defined by SBP also include bills purchased by the banks/DFIs?

I am wondering for does the ‘Exposure’ defined by State bank of Pakistanalso include bills purchased by the banks/DFIs? I have to write an article on the topic mentioned above.

    Yes, the exposure includes bills purchased/ discounted with the exception of those bills which are drawn against the L/Cs from a local bank/DFI and a foreign bank rated at least “A” by Standard & Poors, Moody’s and Fitch-Ibca, or by a rating agency on the approved panel of the State bank of Pakistan.
