Hi, does anyone have the answer to the problem whereby the EWX 1440W doesn't start the cycle and opens the door?  My g/f had this problem and an engineer came out and said it was a common fault... wrote the fault description as 'heater element to earth'  error code as 'EP4' and action taken as 'disconnect element and test ok'

He told my g/f that he could fix it but the dryer wouldn't work, which at the time was ok for her.  However I want to fix it now so the dryer will work again so any info on this fault and what was done to fix it would be much appreciated!  :o)  I'm assuming its a case of sourcing a replacement for the defective heating element and replacing it but haven't had the machine open yet!  Cheers!
