Eventing colors for a black horse with white blaze?

I have a new horse that is all black with a white blaze and one white sock. My boyfriend loves red and said that would be a great color for him. Thoughts? I mean, red saddle pad, galloping boots, helmet cover, etc. What color would you do?

    i think red really stands out on black horses and it looks really nice
