   Australia was ranked fourth internationally in per capita beer consumption, at around 110 liters per year. Here are the styles of beer that are available and most popular in the country:
   Stout: A thicker, much heavier type of beer, but in the last twenty years Guinness, a dry stout, has become hugely popular with all ages.
   Ales: Typically an English style beer, these are top fermented and full bodied beers.
   Midstrength:  this style fills the gap between lights and heavies, with a lower alcohol volume than full strength.
   Lager: Typical Australian beer, made by using bottom-fermenting yeast.
   Pilsener: Brewed all over the world, it is a mild flavored lager with a medium hop flavor and a hint of spice.
   Low Carb: Also brewed all over the world and brewed longer to reduce the amount of Carbs.
