    Kidde now owns Firex and has replaced all of the previous Firex models.  According to the Atlanta Supply Co website (www.atlantasupply.com), Model i4618 Smoke Alarm is the replacement for 120-1072B.  You have to replace the ceiling mounting bracket and use the included adapter to install it to the existing wiring and then it works in conjunction with all the old detectors on the system.
