I have a question about fixing of whirlpool mh1150xm microwave. Whenever I go on to switch my whirlpool mh1150xm microwave it displays F6 message. I am not quite able to understand what does this message mean? So I would really be grateful if someone gives me any idea to fix this problem or provide a solution.

Most of the times there are very minor problems that occur with your microwave that can be fixed without spending a lot of time or money and your microwave oven can be working like new again. There do happen to be certain troubleshooting tips and guidelines to guide you if you are having trouble with your microwave or you find that it is not working properly. It is worth-mentioning here that you should know the proper safety precautions as repairing a microwave can be very dangerous. Thus it should be made sure that:

    1. The appliance is not plugged in

    2. You don’t touch any wiring or components until you discharge the high voltage capacitor

    3. Don’t work alone

    4. Remove watches and other jewelry

If your microwave does not work at all and you know everything is plugged in properly and the outlet is functioning, then check your fuses and your door switch. The F6 error actually is a relay failure error code, which needs either replacing the unit or have a service tech check it out. If the internal fuse or thermal fuse is blown you will need a professional to help you replace it. However, if it is a relay on the circuit board, the board could just be replaced.
