Fridge/Freezer stuck in defrost mode. How can I troubleshoot?

    If you discover that your refrigerator is either cooling too much or not at all-there can be a number of reasons why this is happening-but in most cases it is a result of the refrigerator's defrost timer going bad.
   
   The first thing you will have to do is turn off the power supply to the refrigerator by unplugging it.
   
   With the freezer frozen down, find the defrost timer, Turn it clockwise until you hear it click.
   
   Advance the timer should be close to the controls the opening should be round stick a butter knife in and turn clockwise.
   
   If it is a digital make sure the controls on normal settings and unplug for 1 min and plug back in.
   
   Incase this doesn’t work, call an electrician and replace the defrost plug.
