From where did the term ‘Boolean’ originate?

I just read about Boolean search and found it really interesting. I read that it’s based on Boolean logic. I want to know when exactly the concept of Boolean logic came into being!

    George Boole, an English mathematician in the 19th century, developed "Boolean Logic" in order to combine certain concepts and exclude certain concepts when searching databases.
