    you should check the battery of Grandfathers clock and if problem continues then concern to nearest clock servies center...

    Its easy to reset the weighs of the grandfather clock. 1st pull the weigh up then pull the chain connected to the weigh down. It will reset

    Note: the side of the weigh is the hanging chain.

    maybe it's out of oil, if it is then oil it. if it is oiled and still stops, there's a wear in the clock. send the clock to a clock repairman.
