I'm 14 going to 15 and I have no clue how can i convince my parents on letting me do some things teens usually do....

1. I've never been to a sleepover b/c they have to know the parents of my friend and they think something reaally bad can happen to me.

2. I don't have so much self-confidence when im with my friends cuz im always thinking how i have to act in order to not get in "trouble".

3. Every time sum 1 invites me to a party i have to make up an excuse telling them i cant go.

4. My parents always tell me that in this world best friends dont exist and that people might try to hurt me or take advantage of me.

I know they do it for my own good but I'm a good girl and super nice with everyone and im pretty mature to be 14. Why do they do this to me when I haven't done anything wrong?

i know how you feel ive just turned 14 and my parents drive me nuts because they tuke me out of school when i was 5 and I'm home schooled, now the only thing they let me do is fencing for a hour whats on every Tuesday and that's all i do, i never had a friend because my mum first said "you go fencing, why havent you got friends there?" but for one the fencing club is 25miles away and second i stab them for 55 Min's of the hour, and now she says "i never had friends the girls you see in pictures when i was younger they all use to beat me up" now she says i have to be 16 till she"ll let me out.
