How can I know if I have been overpaid by UK government?

I am a British citizen getting the benefits and I have heard so much about the crime of benefit fraud but I do not know if I am getting over paid by the government or not. Please help

    You will get a letter letting you know you have been overpaid. The letter will normally tell you how much you have been overpaid, why the overpayment happened, whether you have to pay the money back, whether or not you can appeal against the overpayment decision and what is going to happen next. If you think you have been overpaid do not wait for your benefit office to contact you.
