I have an Elo 1515l Touchscreen LCD Monitor with a flickering screen and need to open up the case to repair it.  However, I am not sure how to open this type of case without using force to crack it open.  How would I go about properly opening up this type of monitor when the manufacturers won't tell?

I got the same dilemma and after fiddling with it a bit I found that it's built like most remote control casing. Using a very small flat blade screwdriver small enough to slide in the crack without denting it, and a another one slightly bigger to hold cover open as you go around. With the small one insert in the crack and slide left or right to find a notch or dent. Once there, pry open while pushing slightly. You should hear a pop or snap noise, not a cracking noise. After the first one, it's easier with help of the other screwdriver applying a bit of tension not to far from the next notch. Be careful of how far in you push the screwdrivers you could damage components.
