How do you replace the thermostat in a Nissan xterra 2001 3.3 liter. If its from the top hose, it appears to be blocked by the timing belt cover. How do you replace and can it be done without removing the cover, if you have to remove the cover is that done easily and how do you do that please. Thank you

It is better to take your vehicle to the nearest mechanic.
Fixing any part of a four wheeler is not an easy task. It would be a wastage of time and can create more problem for you.
