If the depression occurs in the winter months or in the fall, then you can go for a light therapy by using a special lamp. Most people try a popular herb which is known as St Johns Wort. Some of these studies suggest that this type of herbal remedy is helpful for some mild depression, but not a moderate or a severe one. If you are facing with moderate to severe depression, then the most effective treatment plan will likely to combine the counseling and medication.
