I want to find out some of the methods to find out anxiety, what are some of the methods by which we can diagnose the anxiety of a person, are there any tests to find out about the anxiety level of a patient.

There are different ways to diagnose the anxiety. Anxiety is a very difficult and complex procedure due to the variety of possible cases and because of symptoms of a person which arise from his personalized and individualized experiences. After a doctor examines a anxious patient, he will first rule out the physical conditions and diseases that have anxiety as a symptom. The history of the patient is then taken to see that if the prescription drugs, alcohol or the drug abuse, caffeine, work environment, or any other external stressors that could be triggering the anxiety. In most of the cases, the most important diagnostic information is gathered from the patients psychological history. There are some psychological tests that include the Hamilton Anxiety Scale and also Anxiety Disorders interview schedule.
There are some psychological tests which are in written, oral and verbal form to evaluate and to access the cognitive and the emotional functions of children and adults. Some of the psychological tests are used in order to access many different mental abilities and attributes, which include achievement and ability, personality and neurological functioning. Apart from all these tests there are personality tests which are conducted to evaluate the thoughts, emotions and attributes and also behavioral traits that comprise a persons personality. By these tests we can determine the individual personality’s strengths and weaknesses and also identify certain disturbances in the personality.
