Feel great look stupid, feel stupid look great. That's what my dance teacher says and works. If you feel like you look really good when you dance chances are you don't, and if you feel really stupid (mostly because you exaggerate the moves...a lot!) then chances are you will look really good. Remember this for when you get the dance memorized really good.

Now to help you hit it. Think of the moves before bed like that other person said. It helps me out a lot! Then the next day turn the music on and slow it down if you can. Do the moves as big as you can and really concentrate on the counts. Oh and just because the music is slow doesn't mean you can have less energy than when it is normal speed. Then try to do it as big as you can like you just did and hit it as hard as you can with the music faster than normal speed. Do this a few times. It will help you with your counts and to get the dance right. Then when you try it normal speed it should seem slow and you should be able to hit it a lot harder. We do this in class all the time and it really helps.

Other than that if you have any problems just ask some of the Oldies and they will probably be willing to help to out. Also if your friends with one of them do the dance for them and get them to give you constructive criticism on how you do it. Besides dancing in front of the people on your team is the hardest audience to perform for. So if you get good in front of them you should be really good in front of an audience with no dancers.

Good luck. Hope I helped you out!
