How do I open the case to the Sharper Image Touch MP4 player

My micro chip went inside apparently the slot is not perfect and I pushed it in but it went under the proper slot and is inside case

I had the same thing happen to me as I was installing the chip for my daughter. Very hard to do without bending the silver stainless steel cover. Step one: Remove stainless steel cover with "the sharper image" printed on it. (it is clued very well) Step two: use a small phillips screwdriver- I used one that is used for eye glasses. there are 4 screws in each corner under the cover in step one. Step three: remove one more s***w and lift inside unit up then toward the s***w you just removed. you will then find your chip sitting underneath. I hope I helped you out and I also hope you have better luck not bending or breaking it.
