I am only 14 years old and my brother is 17. We get in many arguements like any other siblings, but he gets our of control. I never thought that he would become the person that he is. He hits me and treats me like im one of his friends, but its not only a slap as a joke, its full force. Just today he hit me and gave me bruises up and down my arm as well as split my lip in two places, and a bruise on my leg. I dont know what to do anymore. I have tried telling my mom but she doesnt listen. She just replies with "i wasnt there so i dont know if you deserved it" or "i cant always be there to fight your battles." I need alot of help and its gotten to the point where i dont want to come home. It hurts just writing this because im crying so hard that i can barely see my computer screen. I want to have my happy family again but i dont know what to do. Its not only physically hurting me, but mentally. With my brother, as well as my mom. When parents promise to protect you from all the boys that hurt you, why cant she help me with this. I guess this isnt only a cry for advice, but a cry for help. please please someone help me out, i need to know what i can do, and soon before something worse happens.
