How do i get over my ex boyfriend?

I like this guy he treats me better than my ex but I don’t know why I still have feelings for him and miss him a lot but when he is around I can’t stand him.  When I meet someone knew who treats me well, I can’t seem to get my x out of my head.  Pls help me cuz this can make me unhappy for the rest of my life and I might miss out on real love.  

Every time I’m seeing someone else, he comes running back and wants to kiss and makeup. Please help, what should I do?

    I was seing this guy for 3 years and he just broke up with me last week. i don't understand how this happened he told me that he was talking to another girl but nothing has happened between them but if it goes well they might might go out, but i really have feelings for him i don't how i will get over him i can't stop thinking about him. please help
