    2-and-3/4 is the same as 11/4, 4-and-5/6 is the same as 29/6 and 1-and-3/8 is the same as 11/8. Finding the least common multiple of the denominators (24) we get 11/4 = 66/24, 29/6 = 116/24 and 11/8 = 33/24 (by multiplying the top and bottoms by 6, 4, and 3 respectively). Adding the numerators, we get 215/24 which does not reduce.
