    Each country in the United Kingdom is responsible for handling education. United Kingdom is responsible for the education of England and the Scottish government. While Northern Island government is responsible for handling education for Scotland, Wales and Northern Island. While the systems in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are more similar, the Scottish system is quite different.
