My name is Dwayne Albert. I live in London. I recently bought an iPhone from NYC.  Few days ago, when I was trying to install custom firmware onto the device, an error 1600 popped up on my screen. This error tensed me a lot throughout a week. I’m in so much worry about that. Suggest me any how I can fix that error 1600? Answer me as quickly as possible. I will be very thankful to you.

Dude doesn’t be worry about that. It’s not a big issue. This is fairly a common error which almost every iPhone user faces. Its solution is very easy and for that you don’t have to be nerd, geek, tech savvy or computer programmer. There is no rocket science required for that. All you need is common sense.

This error actually prevents your iPhone from restoring your iPhone using the normal method in iTunes. Its solution is like that:

    1) First you have to download the 3.1.2 iPhone firmware file you are downgrading the iPhone to, then open iTunes.

    2) After opening an iTunes, just hold the "Home" button on the iPhone and plug it into your computer. Continue to hold the "Home" button until the iTunes icon displays on your phone screen.

    3) Press the “SHIFT" key on the computer's keyboard and then click the "Restore" button on the iTunes’.

    4) Select the 3.1.2 firmware file you and download it.
