    drifting is combination of handbrake and clutch... speed up your car and at the speed of 60 kms/hr pull the handbrake and turn the steering... now if you want long drift then pull handbrake release it then pull it again with the combination of speed..

   I completely disagree with you, the reason being this, that to drift a car you dont need to use hand break first thing.... and the thing which you explained is called simply skit.
   
   To Drift you need to have a rear wheel drive car and its the power of the car which makes it drift no sort of breaks are needed in it, The proper drifting is possible over the speed of at least 120 KMP.
   
   More over you can watch drifting some place on internet and watch closely.
