Here are some methods to find a specific word from a web page.

First, you have to go to the page you need to search it through. It has to have a normal text though, not text inside of the image file or a flash banner otherwise this won't work.

No matter what type of browser you're using, you must be able to press ctrl and F and it will show up some sort of icon of Find window. Then later on type in the word that you're looking for and press the button of Find or Find Next depending on what type of browser you are using.

After doing that, see if the word exists on the page, it will then bring you right to it and most of the browsers will also automatically highlight the word. There are some rare page designs where this will not work, otherwise it will find this word anywhere on the page.

For a much lot method of finding words, phrases, or the multiple instances of the similar word, you must install the Google Toolbar. It is one of the few toolbars that is not spyware or adware. It has a highlight feature that will highlight every word which you type in the search area wherever it displays on the page. If you click on any of the word button on the right side of toolbar, it will jump to you automatically to the first location on the page where that word usually shows up, just like the search function.
