It is very frustrating when you open Internet Explorer on your PC and find the error message "Cannot find server." This could happen because of various reasons. You can take different approaches to fix the error. DNS or "Cannot find server" errors are the results of your computer's inability to perform a two-way connection to the Internet. The problems usually exist somewhere in your computer if you receive these errors after establishing a consistent connection with your Internet provider,
You need to refresh the page that was unable to load. If the page reloads on your computer then you had a momentary lapse in service that usually happens with many internet service providers. Between each following step, you need to try refreshing the page to check if the problem is resolved. Now you check the address of the page you inserted into the address bar to confirming it is spelled correctly. An error in the URL address could also create this error message. Once done, go to your settings of the connection and make sure that it has the same setting those of your provider or local area network. You will do this by pressing on Tools on the toolbar after that go to Internet Options. Here, under the Connections tab, you will click Settings. After completing above steps you will click the "Detect Network Settings" link that is located on the Internet Explorer page having the error message to let Windows find an optimum connection. Finally, you will Download DNS error fix software off the Internet if other option fails to work (see Resources). You can get the software is free on many websites. This will be very helpful for your in identifying the problem and correct it.
