If someone wants to start or boot the PC during Windows 7 installation, the Windows 7 can be downloaded in a special format called an ISO file and use the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool to create a USB flash drive, which can then be used to install Windows 7 on the net book. A free tool called Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool has been released by Microsoft to help users install Windows 7 on all net books in five simple steps. It should be noted that there is a need of a USB flash drive having a minimum of 4 GB free space. Besides, the data should be backed up from the USB first. 1. Download Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool and install it using portal download.cnet.com/Windows-7-USB-DVD-Download-Tool/3000-18513_4-10972600.html
2. Run the program, using the Browse button, browse to your Windows 7 ISO image. 3. This step requires selection of your media type. As we are here to create a bootable USB, simply click on USB device button. 4. Select your USB flash drive from the drop down box and click on Begin copying button. 5. The Windows 7 USB/DVD tool will take a few minutes to complete the procedure. 6. The procedure is complete, now windows 7 can be installed after rebooting the machine.
