How to make perfume by using flower?

    Hi,
    you'll need a couple of baby food jars...an empty drawer, a bottle of vodka (it's the closest thing to perfumer's alcohol commercially available), some coffee filters... and some flowers and other aromatics...

    what you'll be doing is a process called, tincturing (if memory serves me correctly)...take your flowers and crush them, put a different flower in each jar, do the same with other aromatics (cinnamon, vanilla beans...etc) then fill the jars with vodka, place them in the empty drawer and keep it shut for about two weeks...

    Filter out whatever pulp may be left in each jar...you have now successfully created "notes" you can have your students blend these notes in order to make their own perfume. You can even go online and find inexpensive atomizers so they can bottle their fragerances...
