   A pine cone is shaped very much like the tree it comes from. You can simply acquire advantage of this similarity to produce tiny Christmas trees. When it’s complete, your tree will have a festoon, shiny round ornaments and a sparkly star. These trees formulate gorgeous decorations for the mantelpiece, shelf or table. You can also make them into ornaments for the tree. Children can help with numerous stages of the craft, such as gathering the pine cones and putting on the glitter and garland.
   
   Gather some pine cones from the yard. Look for medium pine cones to large. Reject those pine cones that are wet and stickly. Place the pine cones on a lined sheet of baking with aluminum foil and cook at 2000 degree F for 15 to 20 minutes.
   
   You protect your work surface with some newspaper and use a brush. With the help of brush, apply the glue to the surface of pine cone with carefully and sprinkle it with the green glitter. Then find a metallic chenille stem in different color like in red, silver, blue, gold and pink.
   
   Allow a hot glue gun to preheat for five minutes. Select several small, round sequins in different colors. Place a small drop of hot glue on the end of one of the pine cone scales. Wait a few seconds, and then place the sequin on the glue.
   
   Then bend a metallic chenille twig into 5 segments about 2 centimeters long. Make a five-pointed star, and then cut the point where the first and last segment overlaps. Place a drop of hot glue at this point and hold the star tightly between your fingers until the glue has cooled completely.
