How to troubleshoot having an error "-E-" when waffle maker is turned on?

When waffle maker (Wolfgang Puck Bistro collection, BWB010SET)is plugged in and turned on, I get a "-E-" and it doesn't heat up. I have waited for more than 15 minutes.
I have also unplugged and plugged the waffle maker, every time the same error.

    your waffle maker either got cold or moist in storage.  We take our blow dryer and blow heat around the front and back mechanisms for about 5 minutes then plug in.  If still E , dry for a few more minutes to let everything heat up.  Ours worked after warming up for about 10 mins in the house and 5 with the blow dryer, good luck.
