I am a 8 grade girl, there is a senior who flirts and hangs with me a little too much. What do I do?

This senior is too flirty and nice, I used to think he was just one of my best guy friends, but some other people have caught on this too. An example of one thing that happened was in band, 8th through 12 is advanced band. Band was over and I was talking to some good friends of mine and I felt someone watching me, I look over my friends shoulder and I see the senior staring straight at me. a minute later I was the last person in the room trying to clean my instrument and he comes over and askes me when i was going to next, I told him I was staying in the band room till school was over he then says That sucks, I ask him why and he says cause I will be at the upper school and u will be down here. I answered back confused and amazed, saying yeah it does. Then stood there watching him stare at me for a ackward while.
I have no clue wat to do, my friends are no help, I dont like him like that and I am way to young for him... Help cause I think he is about to ask me out soon.... Help me!!
