It has just been two years that I got married and now I am a father of a baby girl. After the birth of my daughter my wife started having health problem and had difficulty in breast feeding the baby. To my surprise, she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Before going for treatment, I would like to have full breast cancer information with facts.

As per the definition of breast cancer, it is a malignant tumor (a collection of cancer cells) originating from the cells of the breast. Usually there are no noticeable signs of breast cancer that can be seen or felt. Nevertheless, some very common ones include a lump, an area of thickening, or a dimple in the breast. Besides, some that are not very common include breast swelling and redness or an enlarged underarm lymph node. The causes of breast cancer are presently unknown but according to stats, out of every 8 women in U.S, one develops breast cancer. There are some types of breast cancer are different from each other in their ability to spread while the treatment depends on the type of cancer and its stage.
